About Sarah

Sarah holds a degree in Graphic Illustration from the University of the West of England, where she majored in Botanical Illustration..

She has exhibited at the Royal Horticultural Society twice, winning a bronze and gilt silver medal for her watercolor paintings and illustrations in pen and ink. She studied with Mary Grierson and worked for the Plantsman Magazine and other RHS publications.

Her work is included in many collections both in Europe and the United States.

Sarah taught in England until 1994 when she moved to the USA with her family,.

She is now the Education Director for the Wellesley College Friends of Horticulture"s Certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration, where she teaches at all levels.

She also offers classes at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset and at the Copley Society in Boston.

Sarah is the Education Co-Chair for the American Society of Botanical Artists and Founding Director of the New England Society of Botanical Artists.

She is a Gallery Artist at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset and was recently voted an Artist Member of the prestigious Copley society of Art in Boston.

Sarah currently lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts with her husband Adrian and three mad dogs, with occasional visits from their daughters Anna, Katie and Jenny.

Many of Sarah's original paintings are for sale and  available as limited edition giclee prints.
If you have a favourite flower, Sarah is also excited to paint on commission.
